Street Kid Africa Announces Educational Outreach in Kano State

Street Kid Africa, also known as Building Kids on the Street Foundation, has announced an educational outreach programme scheduled to hold on January 24, 2026, in Kano State, Nigeria.

The outreach will focus on the free distribution of books and essential school materials to children in need, particularly those living on the streets or from underprivileged backgrounds. The initiative forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to promoting access to education for vulnerable children across Nigeria.

Speaking on the programme, Samuel Ehiwe, the Founder of Street Kid Africa, stated that the outreach is driven by the belief that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their social or economic circumstances. According to him, providing children with proper learning materials is a critical step toward improving educational outcomes and restoring dignity and hope to young lives.

“Education remains the strongest tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. This outreach is about ensuring that no child is denied learning simply because they lack basic school materials,” Ehiwe said.

He further called on individuals, organisations, and well-meaning members of the public to support the outreach, either through donations, partnerships, or volunteering, to help expand its impact and reach more children.

Street Kid Africa continues to work toward creating a future where every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through access to quality education.
